Much of the market’s enthusiasm for artificial intelligence is still being directed at the software layer. Yet the industry’s real constraints are increasingly physical: electricity, cooling and the infrastructure that moves data. As the training and deployment of AI models expand, it is becoming harder to pretend that the technological race is only about better algorithms. It is also about bigger grids, denser hardware and far more robust networks.
